Wow....

Wow....so it's been a while since I've had ANY time to write in this blog. I think about it often but there is just no time these days. But today they both fell asleep at 630 today after a nice yummy meal of sweet potatos and peaches....yummy. They are getting sooooooooooooooooooooooooo big. Lucy is still a petite girlie girl at about 15 pounds and Gibby is in the 95% percentile for weight ....he's about 19 pounds now.....he's a big boned boy......and as cute as can be. They are sooooo great....smiling, laughing, rolling, and sitting up almost by themselves. It just keeps getting better and better.....I can't imagine my life without them....and I can't remember my life before they were here.....it's crazy. Pat and I keep playing the lotto each week with hopes and dreams of getting lucky...yeah right...?? Everyday when I drop them off to go to work I immediately can't wait to leave work and pick them up. I picture their beautiful smiles all day long...I swear my classrooms theme is anything and everything that reminds me of them. My students love the new pictures that I bring in each day......they have even offered to babysit.......hmmmmm.......not sure about that one....just kidding. I can't beleive they are 5 months old TODAY!!! They have changed soooo much and it's only been months. I'm amazed everyday by what they can do. Lucy is such a talker.....she talks from the moment she wakes up till she's put down for the night. Gibby is the sweet and silent type. He talks to his sister and to himself in the morning when he wakes up. He loves, loves, loves to dance and listen to music. I swear he is going to be a beautiful musician one day.....I'm afraid that Little Lucy has my rhythm and dance moves....poor girl. Lucy is soooo smart......I can just tell by the way she looks and examines people.....she's already sitting up almost by herself for like 20 seconds. She is amazing. Gibby is going to be a handy boy. He is going to be just like my dad....he is a smart boy. He is constantly looking at how things work.....he can use just about any toy and figure out how to work it. He looks at fans, water faucets, and anything that moves. He also loves to dance with mommy and daddy....and he loves when Pat sings to him. Well it looks like my half hour of freedom is over....both are up for one last baba before bedtime at 730.......hopefully I'll be back soon.........
